Heidi joins the Joanne Hart – RittenhouseTherapy Dog Teams!
This brown beauty was on her way to the show ring when her owner realized that she was deaf, at that time her services were no longer required. A phone call was placed trying to find a home for this deaf boxer pup, a natural call was to the owner of Heidi’s older brother Karl who is also deaf. The two year difference between the siblings left one to wonder if there would be any kinship, from the first time they laid eyes on each they knew they were family.
Heidi is now following her brothers’ lead and is a registered therapy dog with Therapy Dogs Incorporated where she is providing love and comfort to the community. Heidi and Karl are proving that “Deal Dogs truly rock”.
