Meet adoptable deaf Winnie Harlow who is a sweet 6/7 month old Australian Shepherd mix who is looking for a loving forever home where she will be a cherished member of a family, and live with someone who will make positive reinforcement training/socialization a priority and always keep her safe.

From her advocate: Winnie Harlow is a goofy, spunky, loving and very inquisitive about life. Winnie is a 6/7 month old Australian Shepherd Mix. Winnie is excited about life. She loves being able to play with other playful dogs. She is about 35/40lbs and all of that is puppy with puppy energy.

Winnie came from the shelter with a very bad case of Demadex mange, skinny and they thought she was a Maltese she was so little. Luckily with treatment she is Happy and very healthy.

We have found out that she does need to have another playful puppy or playful adult dog. She loves to share her toys with others but she doesn’t like to share her food (she is fed in her kennel). She is kennel and house trained.

She has not been around children but I would believe she would need to live in a home with older children and a family that is willing to be very active with her. In her foster home she goes to doggie day care a couple times a week.

**Every dog has their bonus aspect and Winnies is she is deaf, although that hasn’t stopped her from living a regular life.**
