Meet adoptable deaf puppy deaf/vision impaired Australian Shepherd mix Wink who is looking for a very special home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement touch/sign training a priority and always keep him safe. The ideal home for Wink would be someone who is home a lot, retired or works from home.
From his advocate: Meet Wink!
This 6-month-old (DOB 6/15/25) sweetheart is deaf and partially blind — but don’t tell him that! Wink is adventurous, playful, and full of love. He explores confidently, adores toys, other dogs, cats, and kids, and is already crate trained.
He came from a litter that shouldn’t have happened (both parents carried the Merle gene), and we have been fostering him but now Wink’s only mission is to find his forever family.
We’ve started touch training with him, and he’s such a smart, loving little guy. Wink would do best with someone who has plenty of time — maybe retired or works from home — to give him the attention he deserves.
There will be vet references required to qualify for Wink.
Wink is crate trained, great with other dogs and would love to live with a companion dog. He is good with kids, cats and he is full of much joy. Wink is 15 pounds of pure joy and love.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will melt your heart every day, Wink is waiting for you!
Wink’s adoption fee is $250 dollars to a screened and approved home only. You must live close enough to Siloam Springs Arkansas to come and meet Wink in person to be considered for adoption. If you are interested in meeting and adopting Wink, please email Kara at: karacribb12@gmail.com
