Willow Rocks Her CGC and CGCA Titles by Kim Deutsch Kleinsteuber

Willow is our eighth Great Dane and our third deafie. We adopted her from a rescue when she was only nine weeks old. Willow had a rough start in life because she was sickly when she was young. She was underweight, undersized, and she had a crocked leg. Despite all of her challenges, she is one of the happiest dogs we’ve ever lived with. Her happiness is like a beam of sunshine that shines through her beautiful personality.

Willow loves to cuddle up on the couch with her humans, go for car rides with the windows down, and do zoomies at warp speed around the back yard. She never lets her deafness or her crooked leg slow her down.

Willow recently earned her Canine Good Citizen (CGC)  and CGCA titles which is the AKC Community Canine is an advanced level of the AKC’s CGC program. As soon as Willow earned both her CGC and her CGCA titles she enrolled in training to become a therapy pet. She is currently rocking her Therapy Dog training. I know she will do a great job just like our other therapy danes and mastiff.
