Meet sweet 4 year old deaf Labrador Retriever Willow who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend, and always keep her safe.
Willow is an amazing companion, who needs someone to give her all the love! Willow is a special needs dog due to her hearing loss. She stays around humans and doesn’t stray far; she has trusts in anyone who is near her. She doesn’t bark often, due to not being able to hear. Willow is crate trained and listens very well. She loves other dogs, children, and even cats. All Willow asks for is love and attention, she is very easing going. She is up to date on all her vaccines, and she is spayed.
Willow deserves an amazing home with somewhere to run and play. She loves playing fetch, even in the water! But you must be careful, if she cannot find her toy in the water. Willow will swim till days end and she cannot hear your command to come back. A life jacket suits best with her in water, but if she could, she would live on the lake.
Willow knows the commands of sit, lay down, and “come here” just with simple hand gestures. She loves to please.
This girl deserves to be loved and know she is loved. Willow deserves the entire world, and she needs someone to give that to her.
Barking – the main barking incidents we’ve had is where you approach her from a non routine direction. For example, she gets used to you coming through a specific door or gate when you get home from work or just getting her from her designated space. If you use a new route she may bark at you until she realizes it’s just her personal and everything’s ok!
Willow’s adoption fee is $200 to a screened and approved home only. They are looking for a home in North Dakota or maybe close by in some of the neighboring states (MN, SD, Montana).
