Meet adoptable 12 week adoptable deaf/blind puppy Whibbles Magoo who is looking for a very special home with some with someone who will make positive reinforcement training/socialization and his safety a priority.

From his foster: Whibbles Magoo is a 12-week-old male Australian shepherd who was born blind and deaf. Whibbles currently weighs about 10 lbs. Whibbles is a brilliant pup who does not let his lack of vision and hearing stop him from being a happy, playful, and loving pup.

He is so incredibly smart! He already knows sit, shake, down and up. He’s incredibly food motivated and willing to learn. Whibbles came from working stock and has lots of herding instinct so we are looking for an adopter who knows the breed and would enjoying working and training him so he can use his natural skills, both body and mind. Read his story here: https://www.mnn.com/family/pets/stories/foster-train-blind-deaf-puppy He is up to date on puppy shots, current on preventatives. He is currently being fostered in Atlanta, Georgia and adoptions can be considered there, the Chattanooga area, or middle Tennessee.

(Due to his age he will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract. Because of his special needs his adoption fee is partially sponsored and he can be adopted for $150. All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake. You must have an approved application before being able to visit a dog.
