Meet adoptable deaf Australian Shepherd (blue heeler) who is not a year old yet and who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, teach him cool new sign cues and always keep him safe.

From his caregiver: Togo is 8.5  months old (as of 11/17/23) and he was born deaf. We didn’t know at the time of adoption that he was deaf. He is a lavender heeler, he is blue and white spotted with red spots on his paws and face. He is about small/medium but I’m sure when full grown he will be more of a medium dog. He has one ear sticking up and the other flopped at the top, he also has a full tail. His eyes are a chestnut color and around one eye it is all black. Togo is a total goofball and is the biggest cuddle bug.

Togo has all the attitude, a ton of energy but is also a big scaredy cat. He also loves going on adventures and paddle boarding! He gets along great with other dogs and cats and loves children. He would be a great addition to any family/home. He does like to bark and he isn’t very well trained but he needs a home with a person committed to daily positive reinforcement training/enrichment/socialization to help him be the best dog he can be. He was just neutered. We have tried to train and work with him but our lives can get hectic and busy. We really want him to go to a good home that has the time to give him what he truly deserves.
