Meet adoptable deaf 3 year old American Bulldog, Theo, who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his best friend and always keep him safe.

From his caregiver: Theo is a playful 3 year old American Bulldog. He came to us as a puppy of 10 weeks old. Theo has been neutered, has all his vaccines, and is a great watchdog! Although he may not be able to hear, he’s alert and uses his ‘wiggle’ nose to expertly sniff things out, and his eyes are particularly sharp! He’s a very friendly companion to his people.

Theo knows how to sit, stay, shake hands, and is a delight to be around. He likes to sleep on the feet of his person and can be a snuggle buddy! He’s a funny fella with a humble attitude at home. He loves loves loves to play ball!

He would make a good dog for a family where there is some energy. Theo is very trainable! (as a sidenote – I’m going through a divorce and work 85 miles from home) Theo is alone all day, he has access to the yard via a doggy door, and he’s very compatible with my other 13 yr old dog. He never has chewed up furniture or the walls, never has ‘marked’ inside the house or outside… he is a very proper pupper and I’d really like to see him in a family home where he can be cherished, loved on, played with, walked, etc.

I’m pushing 70 and don’t have the knee capacity to walk him very far, let along jog or run with him much. Plus, I want to retire and travel via motorcycle. The only good part about rehoming Theo is that I know he’ll be better taken care of!
