Meet adoptable deaf Catahoula mix Suki who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will make daily positive reinforcement training/enrichment/structured routine a priority and always keep her safe. She probably needs to be adopted by a person who maybe works from home.

From her shelter advocate: Her name is Suki, and she does not do well in the shelter setting, she is panicked and stressed in the kennel. We do have her on medical intervention such as fluoxetine. She is currently in foster, but they cannot hold on to her long term and will be coming back on the 12th. She can play with other dogs, but we do not have home notes with her and other dogs. We have been working on crate training and visual cues to communicate.

She has been okay with the fosters leaving for about 10 minutes, but they naturally don’t leave often so I don’t know what that looks like long term. I have attached some images of she came in as a stray, so we do not have home notes or history.

No bites, and us currently up to date and spayed.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
