Meet sweet adoptable deaf one year old Sterling who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend, teach him cool new sign cues and always keep him safe.

From his shelter advocate: Muncie Animal Care & Services in Muncie, IN has the happiest deaf dog! Sterling arrived at the shelter as a stray in September. He is now neutered, current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Sterling is a 1 yr old, 40 lbs, terrier mix. He does well on a leash, knows sit, is energetic and very sweet. He is good with other dogs and has been off leash playing with several. Sterling is housebroken. He is very affectionate – loves everything and everybody. Sterling is very quiet (not barky) and very smart. Staff is working on hand signals with him. Our adoptions are slow and we would love for Sterling to have a home of his own where he can be happy and continue to work on hand signals.
