Meet adoptable one year old Australian Cattle Dog (Queensland Heeler) Sparky who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.

From his rescue advocate: Sparky is a young, friendly, and playful canine who’s bursting with energy. Despite his deafness, Sparky doesn’t let anything slow him down. His intelligence shines through in his quick learning and problem-solving skills. Sparky’s lively spirit and loving nature make him the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal friend. His deafness doesn’t hinder his zest for life, but rather enhances his other senses, making him a truly unique and special dog. Sparky has been working hard with ARF staff and has learned a sign for his name! He is an incredibly smart dog who will surely be someone’s new best friend.
