Meet adoptable deaf 1.5 year old boxer mix Snow who is looking for a loving forever home with someone will cherish her, someone who is home a lot (Snow has Separation Anxiety) and someone who is familiar with SA to help Snow feel okay if she is left alone sometimes. She is looking for a home with someone who lives in a house and who also has a fenced in back yard. Because she is deaf her bark can be really loud so she would not make a good apartment dog.

From her current caregiver: Snow is a white year and a half old deaf pit bull mix. She is a sweetheart
and loves to play with people and other dogs. She is high energy but
will also cuddle up to you when she is sleeping and loves toys and
attention. She is a bit of a rascal and will jump up on people and furniture.

She is deaf. She also has separation anxiety and currently
cannot be left alone for more than a few minutes. She regularly went
to dog daycare and did great there. She is very well socialized with
other dogs. She will bark loudly if she sees something out the window
or is startled.

I adopted her in August 2023 from someone who was fostering her after
she had been hit by a car and was recovering from a leg injury. Her
previous owners were houseless. She has been well loved by everyone who’s cared for her. I recently made the difficult decision to rehome her and am searching for someone who can offer her a loving and supportive home. Ideally they would be home often and have time and resources to dedicate to training, as well as a yard for her to run around in. She loves to chew on bones, play tug, and do zoomies.

She has basic commands such as sit, stay, down, and touch but could
definitely use more training in visual cues. She is food motivated and
a quick learner. She has little experience with kids but has lived with a cat. She will chase cats but is also very gentle. She loves other dogs and will also do some resource guarding with toys and food inside the home so that is something to keep in mind if you have another dog. She is house trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on current medications. She has been taking medication (fluoxetine) for anxiety.

Snow’s adoption fee is $200 to a screened and approved home only and you must live within a 2 to 3 hour drive of Seattle to be considered for adoption.
