Thank you to all of our supporters who donated to Deaf Dogs Rock in the month of September 2021 to keep our mission going! Our Deaf Dogs Rock community has sponsored 23 deaf dogs/pups into rescue in the month of September 2021.  So far this year our awesome Deaf Dogs Rock community/supporters has sponsored a total of 163 deaf dogs into rescue in the first eight months of 2021 which is fantastic! Thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing to support our mission to save one deaf dog at a time.

It takes a tribe of animal lovers to support Deaf Dogs Rock to continue to carry out our mission. If you would like to help sponsor a deaf dog out of a kill shelter into the safe arms of rescue, please click here to Donate.

The core mission of our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy sponsorship program is to set up each deaf puppy/dog for success by sending them into a experienced special needs rescue where they go into a experienced deaf dog foster homes who are committed to training and socializing each deaf dog that comes into their care. This way each foster advocate gets the opportunity to live with the deaf dog, work with the deaf dog, and accurately evaluate each deaf dog/puppy to make sure the organization makes a great match for each deaf dog with the right home once the adoption screening process starts.

Deaf Dogs Rock works with shelters, rescues, private individuals and breeders to help get each deaf puppy into our Rocker Puppy sponsorship program and into rescue. By doing so, each deaf pup gets the individual training, socialization, and TLC to grow up to become a cherished member of society. Deaf Dogs Rock is a judgement free zone and our number one priority will always be to help deaf dogs and puppies get a fresh start and a chance at a great life.

When screening potential homes for a deaf dog/puppy, each partner rescue has a specific set of guidelines to follow like checking all references, talking to the applicant’s veterinarian and performing a thorough home visit to make sure each home is a safe place for a deaf or deaf/blind dog. This is why our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy is so important to set up each deaf pup for a successful happy life in their new home. Our Rocker Puppy sponsorship program financially sponsors deaf dogs/puppies so the dogs can be vaccinated and spay/neutered before they are adopted to a new family. We only work with rescue partners and advocacy organizations who are committed in making sure each deaf pup is spay/neutered before being placed in a new home. If you would like to donate to our Rocker Puppy sponsorship program, please click here.

Our amazing Deaf Dogs Rock community sponsored 23 deaf dogs/pups in September 2021 which is a huge accomplishment in a struggling economy. We  had some very generous sponsors this month so be sure to scroll down and read about each dog and their sponsors.

Thanks to the financial support of our loyal Deaf Dogs Rock community, D.D.R. can continue to help deaf dogs in need. So far since our start of our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy sponsorship program we have sponsored 1037 deaf dogs (as of 09/30/21) into rescue.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! ~ Christina Lee

Max Cooper – Voice for Animals

When Friends of Dogs at Guadalupe County Animal Control shared a photo of a deaf baby we knew we had to help by putting out a rescue plea nd offering a rescue sponsorship. Thanks to the Voice For Animals Rescue in Kempner Texas for getting sweet Max out of the shelter and into the safe arms of rescue. Max is a recipient of our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy sponsorship so DDR can help with his vetting costs to get him ready to find a new loving home. Thanks to our friends Patricia and Vern for working so hard to support our DDR mission to save one deaf dog at a time like Max Cooper. Max will be directly sponsored by Deaf Dogs Rock because of the generous donation to DDR by Patricia and Vern.

Woofy Acres Rescue – Eme

When several people reached out to Deaf Dogs Rock about Eme, and let us know that Eme had a kill date already scheduled at the shelter we knew we had to try to help.  We jumped into high gear and put our a rescue plea and offered a rescue sponsorship praying that a rescue would  help Eme out of the shelter before the expiration date was here. Thanks to Woofy Acres Rescue Eme is now safe. Eme is a recipient of our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy sponsorship so the vetting can be done to get him ready for a new home. We want to thank Mark Boles for continuing to support Deaf Dogs Rock so we can continue to sponsor deaf dogs like Eme into rescue. You Rock MARK!

Aspen – DC Dogos Rescue

When several people sent me little Aspen’s photo and aske if Deaf Dogs Rock could help we reached out to our friends at DC Dogos Rescue. Pamela and her entire team at DC Dogos have been so amazing this summer. I feel like we have sent so many deaf Dogo pups their way this summer and they always try to make room in their program to fit one more puppy. Sweet Aspen from Lancaster PA is now safely in foster care with the DC Dogos team and as you can see from the photos, he has a mentor to follow around and learn new things.

Buckwheat and Darla Deaf Dogo pups – White Diamond Double Merle Dane Rescue – DE

Sweet Buckwheat and Darla are two deaf Dogo Argentino puppies who came to White Diamond Double Merle Dane Rescue in Delaware all the way from Missouri. Both Buckwheat and Darla will be recipients of our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy Rescue Sponsorship to help with their vetting before they are adopted.

We want to thank Rayan Chamas for donating to help sponsoring deaf puppies Benny, Joon, Aspen, Buckwheat and Darla (pictured above). Rayan donated at the end of August so his sponsorship was used to help deaf dog in the month of September. Rayan plays Poker Tournaments on line and is a pretty darn good player. He donated 10% of his winnings to Animal Rescues, Foundations, Shelters and Animal Advocate organizations. You can check Rayan’s tournaments out on TwitchTV, and Twitter under the name Beriuzy and on Facebook.

Photo above of Rayan of his rescue dog who was rescued and came all the way from Lebanon. Rayan says it was a rough start at first with his rescue dog Fresca he first adopted her.  Fresca is doing great now because of lots of love and a lot of patience. She is now a well behaved, calm, and happy pup. We love hearing stories of rescue pups who are given a chance to settle into their new home so they can figure out the daily routine and get to know their new family members. Great job Rayan!

Anthony and Francis – PJ’s Bully Rescue Inc. MN – PENDING DONATE LINK

When we heard from several people (like over 30 people) in the Lufkin Texas about two deaf and visually impaired pups at a shelter we knew we had to put out a rescue plea. We offered a $400 rescue sponsorship for both Anthony and Francis and we were so relieved to hear PJ’s Bully Rescue in Cloquet MN had them pulled and transported into rescue. As you can see from the photos above that they were pretty sad looking.

When they got to the safety of the rescue/foster they both got a much needed bath! Look how happy they look in their new foster home (3 photos below).

Zeus – Deaf Dog Rescue of America

Thanks to our friends at the Deaf Dog Rescue of America for breaking Zeus out of the shelter. He was found as a stray with his brother. Zeus does need some medical attention before he becomes available for adoption so he will be a recipient of our Deaf Dogs Rock Rocker Puppy sponsorship program so we can help with some of his vetting expenses.
