From his rescue advocate: Meet Samford! Samford is a deaf, double merle Catahoula Leopard. His owner sadly passed away and he ended up at Big Dog Ranch Rescue. He is almost 5 years old. He’s a big boy, weighing in at 66 pounds but we’re trying to help him trim down. He knows basic hand signals like sit, stay, and paw. He’s super sweet and lovable with a willing personality and great manners!

Samford loves to be active with his people but he’s happy to chill out on the couch and cuddle! He would make an excellent farm dog but does not like cats. He’s great on a leash, loves walks, and loves sunbathing! Samford would do great with kids or grandkids. And, his adoption fee is sponsored by Earl Stewart Toyota of Florida!
