Meet adoptable deaf bully Saint who is looking for a loving forever home or a loving foster home with someone who will cherish him, continue his training and always keep him safe. He needs a person who will make his well being and happiness a priority.
From his rescue advocate: Attention Pitt Bull Lovers!
Saint is a sweet indoor family dog, looking for his forever home, rescue commitment or foster. His previous mom, who raised him since he was a puppy, had a baby and no longer had the time or financial resources to care for him. He is very active and requires daily exercise, which she could not provide because she didn’t have a fenced in yard. Saint is currently in boarding in Rockville, MD waiting for a new loving forever home. He will be a loving fun member of your family. Loves to run and snuggle!
Saint is a deaf white, male, American Pit Bull Terrier. He is a big beautiful teddy bear. Two years, seven months old. Neutered and up to date on vaccines. Saint weighs bout 60 pounds. He is potty trained, good with children over the age of ten years old and does well with other big dogs. He needs a home with no small dogs or cats. Saint loves to play and snuggle. He has lots of energy so a fenced in yard would be an ideal situation for him. His original owner did not know he was deaf until vet told her when he was a puppy. Saint needs a loving home or foster loving foster home as soon as possible. Previous owner description “very, very sweet pup. He can come and sit and helps you put on his harness. He has lots of energy and he loves to run.” He acts like a big goofy puppy. His deafness does not stop him from playing, having fun, and snuggling! He does not know sign language but knows hand signals for “sit” and “come.”
Any help or referrals or ideas are greatly needed and appreciated. An application and home visit will need to be completed. A tracking devise for Saint will be included with him.
Saint has been raised with a lovely Pill Bull/Lab mix named Nola. Let me know if you would like more information about her.
