Roomba is a sweet deaf/blind snuggly girl who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, teach her new things and always keep her safe. She loves leash walks and cuddling on the couch. She is extremely playful and loves toys and enrichment. Roomba was raised around kids and other pets. She is friendly towards children, chickens and cats, but we think she would do best in a home without other dogs. In her previous home she found the movements of other dogs stressful and didn’t settle well when younger dogs were moving about. She has also displayed some resource guarding (towards dogs) with valuable objects. However, she is non-leash reactive and can certainly enjoy activities around other dogs outside of the home.

Roomba oozes optimism, whether she is left alone, or with her people. She loves peanut butter, cheese, bones, and pretty much any kind of food. She loves to play in ponds and lakes and would make a great adventure buddy! She also does very well when left alone, loose or in a crate. She would benefit from a fenced in yard but this is not required. Her ideal home would not have a ton of activity, but she would be a great companion for a laid back family. She loves toys and promises to deliver lots of laughs!

Roomba is fully deaf and blind and does have a past history of seizures that are currently controlled, but her new family should be aware that future seizures are a possibility. This does not inhibit her quality of life. She has been in foster for about 4 months and we have not seen any seizures in that time.

Roomba knows several touch cues and LOVES learning new things. She is crate trained, leash trained, and looking for the love of her life!
