Meet adoptable deaf 5 year old Rook who is looking for a loving forever home. Rook is currently in Ohio with Speak For The Unspoken Rescue.
From his rescue: Howdy y’all! Rook here! I am a deaf boxer all the way from Texas.
And don’t you worry about me being deaf, I know a couple of commands and working on new ones.
I am only 5 years old, so I have got the energy to go for a good walk or hike. I am good on a leash if you have a Gentle Leader on me but without it, I am a little too excited.
I am happy to settle in for couch snuggles after our outings. I sleep in a dog bed at night. My foster mom does not have any more room in the bed…but maybe you will have room for me in yours?
I am good in the car for rides. I am not crazy about the crate but will go in willingly and settle after a short protest. I really need a fenced-in yard (no chains or tie-outs) and a dog buddy would be nice. I am potty trained.
I have been around kids but probably they should be a littler older because my wiggle butt might knock over a little one. I am interested in cats but not pushy.
I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines/prevention. If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application at www.speakfortheunspoken.com/adopt 🐾
I am being fostered in Columbus, Ohio. *
