Update 4/22/24: Pip just turned one year old. He has been on our website since he was 28 weeks old!

From his advocate:

This guy needs a home desperately.

He needs a home that can focus on him, give him more one on one time and possibly has experience with training deaf dogs.

He has been my “foster” for over a year now.

We live in a small rural town in New mexico and rescues are full to the brim. He has high husky energy and intelligence. 50 lbs. He is fixed, utd on shots and on heartworm prevention.

He is mostly house trained but does have an underdeveloped bladder. He does have some separation anxiety. He does sleep in his kennel at night. He is friendly with all dogs and cats He has met.

He deserves a home with more time and better understanding of deaf dogs that can love him and train him correctly. I have done my best with what I have. But am only one person spread in so many directions. I can’t take him to a shelter..they are all high kill in our area.

He comes with a kennel, blankets, toys, treats, leashes. He just needs a forever home full of love and understanding.

Looking for a rescue or family of his own. He was abandoned and malnourished when we found him, now he is a thriving, happy and playful boy. Very intelligent and eager to learn, crate trained for meals and bed time. He knows some basic commands like sit and is pad trained. He is up to date on vaccines We are willing to drive in the Panhandle area or can work something out for the right family or rescue.
