Meet adoptable deaf dog Phoebe who is looking for a loving home where she will be the only dog.
From her current caregiver: We estimate her to be about 2 years old. She is sweet, playful and as soft as a rabbit! She is named after the beloved Friends character. She was born deaf and suffers from epilepsy, which was recently diagnosed and is currently controlled through medications. We adopted Phoebe under the impression that she would be good in a house with other dogs. However, we have found that she is territorial and has not taken well to our other dogs.
We are hopeful that we can find a new home for Phoebe where she is the only dog. She loves to play. Tug is eager to learn and. Motivated by treats. She currently knows hand signals sit, come, good girl, look at me, and we are working on leave it. She is house trained and kennel trained and enjoys car rides. She loves tennis balls, but will destroy them quickly! She enjoys the dog park and gets along well with other dogs outside the home. She is good with other people in the house and outside the house. She is an absolute gem and such a sweetheart and will soak up all the love you can give.
Her adoption fee is $200 to a screened and approved home only and you must live within 200 miles of Rocklin CA to be considered for adoption. If you are interested in meeting Phoebe, please contact Danae at: danaewilson31@gmail.com
