Meet adoptable deaf 4-5 month old puppy Peppa who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, make daily positive reinforcement sign training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep her safe.

From her shelter advocate: Peppa is a sweet young girl looking for a forever family to call her own! Peppa was originally found living on the streets, and when her people wanted a better life for her, she was brought to Hawaii Island Humane Society in Kona. Peppa has since won the hearts of staff and volunteer alike, but is still hoping to find a loving, indoor home. Peppa loves playing with other dogs, meeting new people, and especially loves her toys! Peppa is still a young girl at only 4-5 months old, and has a lot to learn, and is expected to grow into a medium sized dog. She is a mixed breed puppy and the breed and size of her parents is unknown.

Peppa is currently located in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, but is eligible for transport to the mainland. If you are interested in learning more about Peppa or how to get her to the mainland, please email our adoption team at adopt@hihs.org or apply for adoption at the Hawaii Island Humane Society at:  hihs.org
