Meet adoptable, deaf, two year old terrier mix Pandora who is looking for a very special home where she will be cherished, learn new sign cues and always keep safe. Pandora is 40 pounds of pure love and joy!
From her rescue advocate: Pandora is a 2-year-old female terrier mix weighing around 34–40 lbs, and she’s just as wonderful as her name suggests.
Deaf—but don’t tell her that—Pandora has already mastered several hand signals (sit, stay, and come) and is enthusiastically learning more every week.
This girl is a total people-lover and truly a social butterfly. She’s never met a stranger and thrives on being part of whatever her humans are doing. With a medium energy level, Pandora is the best of both worlds: she’s always up for walks, car rides, and adventures, but she’s equally happy snuggling on the couch for a cozy movie night.
Pandora is fully potty trained and crate trained, highly food motivated, and a big fan of puzzle toys—she loves using her brain and shines during training sessions. She does well with other dogs and is very dog-social, though she can be a bit leash reactive due to excitement. She does not do well with cats due to a high prey drive. Whether as an only dog or with a canine companion, Pandora will thrive.
A fenced yard is preferred but not required, as long as she gets proper exercise and structured leash walks. Her adaptability and eagerness to please make her a joy to have around.
Pandora is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention—all she’s missing is her forever family.
Location: Rootstown, OH
If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy, a training superstar, and a lifelong snuggle companion, Pandora may be your perfect match.
