Meet adoptable deaf one year old Chihuahua Ozzy who is looking for an adult only home with someone who will cherish him, be his new best friend and always keep him safe.
Ozzy is a 1 year old Chihuahua. He was surrendered to a humane society after living with 30+ other dogs. The shelter never knew he was deaf. As a volunteer foster home for CPR Fund K9 Rescue, I met him at the shelter and was asked to take him to my home for fostering.
It wasn’t long after that I discovered he was deaf. Ozzy is the life of the party. Loves other dogs, loves to play and loves to cuddle. He has a lot to learn about living in a home, but he’s a smart dog and definitely worth the effort. He already knows sit, and a hand signal for “this way”. He is crate trained and is working on house training. He does go to the door when he needs to go out. He is timid with strangers and would be best in an all adult or almost adult house. Ozzy can be adopted to a home within a 2 hour range of Northwest Indiana. Please consider giving this lovable guy a chance to be your buddy.
From Ozzy: I’m Ozzy and full of life, just like a famous musician by the same name. I am about a year old and just learning the ropes about life. Although I’m deaf, I really know how to live to the fullest and will strut around feeling happy. I’m a little slow to trust because I was once a victim of a hoarder, but once trust is gained, I’m a lap-dog sweetheart! I’m no longer a victim, but a fighter! I’m also working and doing well with hand signals like sit and “this way.” For more details, please send an inquiry to email@example.com
My adoption fee is $275. All dogs are spay/neutered prior to placement, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, heart-worm tested and on HW preventative.
