Meet adoptable deaf 1.5 year old bully mix Nutmeg who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will be her new best friend, teach her new sign cues and always keep her safe.

Your days will never be bland with Nutmeg!, Nutmeg is house-trained and loves a good snuggle (preferably on top of her people). What is personal space anyway?! Nutmeg is always ready for her next adventure whether that’s a trip to a pool, a sniffspot, or a long hike!
Nutmeg appears to be Deaf but that doesn’t hold her back. She relies on visual cues and already knows several commands including sit, down, stay, paw, wave, middle, drop it, and touch. She loves to learn new skills and needs a home committed to fulfilling her physical and mental stimulation needs. She would prefer a home with a backyard, but it is not a deal breaker. She’d be happy with long walks and trips to Sniffspots! She also loves to show off her athleticism with agility equipment.
This sweet girl loves treats and toys, which will be helpful for her continued training. She plays well with other dogs in playgroup but is looking to be her family’s one and only! Nutmeg is a young energetic dog who doesn’t always realize her size so she would prefer a home with older dog-savvy kids (12+) or adults only. This special girl is looking for a family who will help her build her confidence and learn how to navigate this busy world without her hearing. Nutmeg is incredibly smart and picks up on cues quickly. She is learning how to communicate and become the best girl that we all know she is.
