For the month of November Deaf Dogs Rock sponsored 3 deaf dogs into rescue and did one medical sponsorship for deaf dog Chevy. This brings our total for the year up to 133 deaf dogs sponsored by our Deaf Dogs Rock Community. This time of year we are running very low on funds so November and December we spend a considerable amount of time fundraising so our organization Deaf Dogs Rock can get a strong start to helping deaf dogs into rescue in the first quarter of 2018. We need your help! You can help us sponsor deaf dogs and puppies into rescue by clicking here.
Although November is when the holidays kick of and the busy shopping season starts we want to take the time to thank everyone who participated and donated on our #GivingTuesday fundraising campaign. We took in around $1600 which is enough money to sponsor eight deaf dogs into rescue.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your kind consideration and support this past November. You all ROCK!

Sparky – GDU
Sweet Labradoodle Sparky was sponsored into the Green Dogs Unleashed program where he will start his foundation training. He is currently in foster care where he will start learning his ASL sign commands, learn crate training, potty training and also will go out in public often for his socialization training. When Sparky has a solid puppy training foundation in place he will be available for adoption soon. Thanks to Erika at GDU and her entire team for taking Sparky and showing him the ropes so he will become the best canine citizen he can be.
Angela
Dalmatian Rescue of SW Virginia
Deaf Dogs Rock sponsored Angela so her vetting would be covered. She is currently at the Dalmatian Rescue here in Roanoke VA and having a great time. Angela is currently available for adoption. Read more about her here.
Griffin the deaf boxer
A big shout out to Green Dogs Unleashed for making sure Griffin the deaf boxer got to their rescue safely. We were honored to help Griffin out by sponsoring him into GDU. He is now in really good hands where he will be vetted, go into a loving foster home where he can learn new things so he can become the best dog he can be.
PS: We met Griffin this past Sunday at the GDU Holiday fundraiser. We also met Griffin’s foster dad. Griffin did great around all the dogs who were at the event. He was very excited and still needs some leash training but seeing him around all the dogs and not being stressed is a really good sign. He was also neutered this past weekend.
