When we saw sweet 5 month old deaf Boxer puppy Perlina on the Northwest Boxer Rescue social media pages we know we had to help. Perlina was very sick when she entered the NWBR. She was very skinny, had kennel cough, giardia and coccidia. We contacted NWBR to see if we could sponsor her spay surgery and vetting through Nitro’s Fund. As of 1/21/26, Perlina is a recipient of our Deaf Dogs Rock Nitro’s Fund which was set up specifically to help deaf boxers (like our beloved Nitro) who are in rescue with their vetting costs.
