Meet adoptable deaf Nelly who is currently looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.

From her rescue advocate: Nelly is an incredibly sweet, goofy and enthusiastic girl with such a zest for life. Nelly is the first dog to get the zoomies in the yard every afternoon, while also being an expert napper and soft snorer. The perk of being hearing impaired for a shelter dog– she sleeps well through all the chaos! She has a history of living with other dogs, is house-trained and comfortable in a crate. She’s also a super smart cookie and knows lots of fun cues (using hand signals) and is very willing to work for treats!

Nelly has shown some reactivity and frustration to other dogs here at the shelter when on leash, but she has a solid history of living successfully with other playful dogs in a home and is a star playgroup pup! She matches very well with other young and playful dogs who can match or handle her energy during play.
