Meet our Deaf Dogs Rock Star of The Week adoptable deaf 5 year old Muzzy who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend and always keep him safe. Muzzy would do best in a home with no other dogs and no small children. He does have some issues with resource guarding and will get in fights with the resident dogs over high value resources (so no children as well). He would thrive in an adult only home where he is the only pet.

From his caregiver: Muzzy is a 5 year old male boxer. He is a happy boy who has never met a stranger and REALLY wants to ride on the school bus. He is good with adults, kids, cats, and livestock (we have goats and chickens). However, he does not get along well with our other dog, so he would need to be the only dog. We live out in the middle of no where, so the use of a leash has been limited to vet trips but he does well when we take him. He loves car rides. We absolutely love him, but we can’t see how it could be good for him to feel the need to fight constantly with our other dogs. He will be your best friend and snuggle buddy.

Muzzy’s adoption fee is $350 to a screened and approved home only (he is fully vetted). You must live within a two  hour drive of Cochranton, to be considered for adoption and to come and meet him in person.
