Since we have so many of our Deaf Dogs Rock readers adopting new dogs, I thought it would be a great time to share with all of you the Top 100 Dog Names of 2011. According to the data from VPI pet insurance, Max and Bella remain on the top of the 100 most popular dog names. When we picked out our deaf dog Nitro’s name it came from us traveling across West Virginia a few years back when we saw a sign for the town of Nitro WV. When we spotted the sign we both agreed if we ever got a boy dog we would name him Nitro. Well when we got our deaf white boxer Nitro we had no idea how well that name would suit him (think Nitroglycerin).
