Meet adoptable deaf 5 month old puppy Midas who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make daily positive reinforcement training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe. At 5 months he has separation anxiety now but since he is so young he can easily overcome his SA in a new home if a structured daily routine is set up (no letting him sleep in bed with you). You can read more about that here. Midas is neutered and up to date on all his routine vaccinations. Note: Looking at Midas he appears to be an Italian Greyhound (Chihuahuas at 5 months old are around 4-5 pounds) or a Whippet because of the shape of his body and his weight. He is probably a result of Double Merle breeding.

From his caregiver: Midas is 12 pounds of pure joy and only 5 months old. He is neutered.

He has a very distinct personality from other dogs. He has a strong attitude and loves to speak his mind. He loves attention and always wants to cuddle. He does seem to have separation anxiety, however, when you come home he loves to give big kisses and hugs. When it’s playtime he’ll either get the zoomies or he’ll play with his toys, especially if you have a ball. He is potty trained and plays well with other dogs his size. He is all updated on his vaccinations. I hope a loving family will give him a loving home and take good care of him.
