Hi, I’m Mavis! I’m a gentle soul with a big heart, just looking for a place  and people  to call my own. I may be deaf, but that doesn’t stop me from loving life and the world around me. I’m calm, quiet, and so well-behaved that sometimes you won’t even know I’m there unless, of course, I’m cuddled up next to you.

I love being outside and enjoying the fresh air. I get along beautifully with other dogs both males and females and I adore people of all ages. Whether you’re young or young at heart, I’d be thrilled to be part of your life.

I came to the shelter as a stray, and sadly, no one ever came back for me. But I haven’t given up hope. I know there’s a family out there who will see me for the loyal, loving companion I am.
