More about Mater: Look at this handsome wrinkly face Mater is up for adoption with The Love Pit in the Dallas, TX area. Mater was up for euthanasia, until The Love Pit and his foster mom decided to break him out! He is a 3 year old boxer/pit mix that is extremely friendly , does well with all dogs & kids !

Mater knows signs for “yes”, “sit”, “lay down” and “go to your room”. He also knows “eat” when it is time for his meals. As you can see from his photo he is a real “ladies man” and loves attention from the ladies.
