Meet adoptable deaf Sheep Doodle Marley (Old English Sheepdog and Poodle) who is looking for a loving home with someone who will be home often (maybe experienced in working with dogs with separation anxiety) with someone who will lover her and cherish her.

From her current caregiver: Marley came to me after being found as a stray at 6-months old. She is currently the only dog in the household, but she attends day care 3 times per week and does great there! I think she would do very well in a home with another playful dog. She loves to learn and adores car rides.

Marley does have some behavioral issues (resource guarding and separation anxiety) so continuing to focus on training will be important. She recently started a new medication for her anxiety and I have already seen vast improvements. Her separation anxiety is on the less severe side, but does result in her barking when left alone. She would need to be fed separately from other dogs until her anxiety is better managed, but she does not have any issues with resource guarding food / toys around people.

She knows around 15-20 signs.

She has not spent very much time around kids, so I think she would do best in an adults-only environment until she settles in.

Marley’s adoption fee is $100 to a screened home. You must live within a 3 hour driving distance of Spokane WA to be considered for adoption.
