I just learned about this “ROCKIN” adoption event coming up this weekend and I love the idea so I wanted to share it with all of our readers and Rockers in hopes you will also share it with your family and friends. The event I am writing about is called Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days. This great event will take place across our great country on May 31, 2014 to June 1, 2014. This is a FREE Adoption event for QUALIFIED adopters. If you have been thinking of adopting a new family member, now you have a reason to do it this weekend.
Share, share, share. Let’s help Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days empty out the shelters across our country. Thanks for your help spreading the word. According to my deaf dogs Nitro, Bud, my hearing dogs Pepe, Tallulah, Lexi and Bailey you all totally ROCK! ~ Christina Lee – Deaf Dogs Rock

Why should you adopt from shelter or rescue groups instead of buying animals from a pet store or commercial breeder?
o Shelters and rescue groups know their animals’ personalities and are great at matching
pets with prospective owners.
o Adopting from a shelter or rescue group reduces the demand for puppy mills, which
breed animals under cruel and painful conditions.
o Shelters and rescue groups offer a wide variety of pure breeds and mixes.
o Rescue pets have already been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and often microchipped
