Meet adoptable deaf four year old Luna girl who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend and always keep her safe.
Luna: White female terrier mix 4 years old (spayed/vaccinated- not up to date)
Deaf, follows visual/gestural commands, LOVES being outside, energetic but is calm indoors, LOVES attention a little too much!
She is potty trained to go outside, she is VERY VERY sweet and loving. She is good with kids and INDOOR cats/dogs. But she does not do well with big dogs that demonstrate dominant behavior; if they are submissive dogs they will get along exceptionally.
She does have some mild food resource guarding issues so she needs to be fed separately away from other animals (from DDR: which we recommend with all deaf dogs and hearing dogs) but mostly because she does not like to share her food or have other pets eat off her plate so just giving her space to eat on her own will do the trick. She is a skittish of new people, requires patience to adapt to new people and new surroundings.
