Liberty is an adoptable, 8 month old Aussie mix looking for a loving forever home.

From her rescue: Liberty is a deaf Aussie Mix who is about 8 months old and looking for the home of a life time. She is house trained and crate trained. Liberty doesn’t do the best on car rides right now but that is improving with time. She is learning to be a dog and loves to play with the other dogs in the home. You see Liberty was dumped along a country road when she was just 5 months old. It was dark and scary for her and she went to the first house she found barking trying to get inside. The home owners took her in and even tried to find the owners thinking that car pulling away at 4 in the morning couldn’t have just dropped off this baby, but they did.

The home owners’ current dog was not a fan of having Liberty around so they reached out to FFN to see if they could help this girl find that forever loving family. Liberties has some issues of being left or even in her crate when you are home but with a cover over her crate and patience she is learning that her humans do come back. She must have been smacked in the face a lot as she can be head shy but she is learning that human touch is good. Her foster mommy is teaching her sign language and she is doing pretty good at picking it up.

She is also doing better at learning other dogs body language too. She loves to go for walks and does great at sticking with you. A fenced yard is strongly recommended for this girl as she loves to run like the wind around the yard. Also, with being deaf is would be best. If you have lots of love and patience to give Liberty for a life time then please apply.
