Meet adoptable deaf mini Aussie Latte who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, work from home (or be retired) who can spend quality time with  her and always keep her safe. Latte is small at only 20 pounds of pure love and joy.

From her caregiver: Latte is a double Merle mini Aussie. She is about a year old, 20 pounds and is very sweet. She is very affectionate and loves to be with people at home, although she can be a little reactive to people and dogs outside while on a leash.

Latte is very close to being completely potty trained, is doing well at walking on a leash and is getting good at her place command. With hand signals Latte can sit, stay and lay down. She loves to play fetch and tug.
Latte has separation anxiety. She is working on being alone and quiet in her crate. Outside of her separation anxiety Latte has a lot of potential, but needs a lot of love and patience.
Latte came to us from a shelter and we don’t know anything about her first year of life. Her separation anxiety results in some barking and whining which has been hard on our other dog and us. We hope Latte can find a home with someone who has a lot of time to be with her. Working and having a busy family means Latte is in her crate more than she wants to be while she is building confidence and resolving this separation anxiety. She has made a lot of progress. She likes to have a frozen Kong or pupsicle in her crate to keep her busy and will do well for a couple hours. She does pretty well at night but is an early riser and lets you know when she ready to be out. So again, we are hoping Latte can find a place where she can have more constant companionship (and positive reinforcement training with clear boundaries for her so she knows what to expect)and meet her potential. Latte would thrive with someone who could get her into some agility course training or who just has a lot of time to walk and play. Latte does not yet have off leash skills, she will run. But we are working on that too so she can have a life with less limitations.

Latte’s adoption fee is $100 to a screened and approved home only. You must live within driving distance of Salt Lake City Utah (within a 100 miles or so) to be considered for adoption.
