Meet adoptable 6 year old Kona who is looking for a loving home with someone who will cherish her, be her BFF and always keep her safe.
From her rescue: Kona was surrendered after she was left behind by her college-bound owner. Kona is a rescue favorite and you’d never guess she’s 6 years old but you might notice her 40 pounds when she goes to hug you! She’s a big little dog if you know what I mean. She’s a very passionate and active dog who would do best in an active home that can provide her with the physical and mental exercise that she needs.
Kona will forever be a puppy in her heart. She does well with non-dominant dogs but can be dog selective in other situations and doesn’t get along well with small dogs. Though Kona is deaf, she doesn’t let that get her down.
She believes she is a lap dog – and who are we to tell her otherwise? She absolutely loves human companionship and she enjoys sunbathing in the afternoon. We don’t know if we’ve ever met a more affectionate dog and her smile will just knock you over. For more information on Kona please give her adoption coordinator, Lydia a call at 714-357-8405. Or find her on Poochmatch.com, a non–profit all breed rescue based in Orange County, CA.
