Meet adoptable deaf one year old Pitbull pup Keller who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, make him a member of the family, make daily positive reinforcement sign cue training/socialization/enrichment a priority and always keep him safe.

From his current caregiver: Keller is neutered male Pitbull who is neutered, up to date on routine vaccines and he is around a year old. My ex-husband could no longer take care of him so he gave him to my daughter. My daughter works and goes to school so she doesn’t have time for a special needs pup like Keller.  Unfortunately, I just got out of the hospital so neither one of us can take care of him. We want him to go to a very loving, caring home. He’s great with kids. He’s great with dogs and great with cats. He is deaf so he needs a lot of positive reinforcement training, a structured routine and lots of TLC.

His adoption fee is $50.00 to a screened and approved home only. You must live within a 30 minute drive of Newport News (or make arrangements to meet him in person and pick him up if you live a little farther away).
