Meet handsome, 2 year old, deaf rocker bully Joey who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, become his new best friend and always keep him safe.
From his rescue advocate: Joey was found homeless, roaming around the street until a lady opened her car door to let him in. This lady and her friend told care of Joey for some time until they get help with Grace Animal Rehab Center. We are told these people that Joey had separation anxiety and need to be with other dogs or someone. We realized later that they weren’t feeding Joey enough food hence reason why he was barking constantly.
Today, Joey will bark if he needs water, food, and attention. He is able to be inside his crate without other dogs around. He loves snuggle and petting and he is obedience. Joey is partially deaf. He won’t respond if you call him to come in, you have to go to him and signal him.
When he goes to a new family, he will feel insecure at first. But with time, patience, love, he will feel safe. We will offer support and guidance along the way.
