We just got word here at Deaf Dogs Rock that Izzy one of the TN Safety Spotters just passed her Therapy Dog Inc. test to become a registered Therapy Dog. We are just thrilled for Izzy and Patricia Belt. Congratulations Izzy! According to my deaf dog Nitro, you totally ROCK!

Here are some words from Izzy’s mom Patricia Belt: My silly, sweet girl that was rescued off the streets of Texas at 10 weeks old, Izzy passed the TD Inc.Therapy Dog test yesterday with excellent scores in all the exercises. She is 13 ½ months old.

After earning her CGC and mastering the K9 Safety Educator exercises 6 months ago, she has taught hundreds of children the rules of fire safety and dog bite prevention at the Fire Museum of Memphis, elementary schools, libraries, a special needs camp. She’s participated in several special events, like the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and the Pink Heals Tour. Izzy has a personality that everyone wants to be around, radiating joy wherever she goes.

The possibilities are endless for the start of her incredible journey.

What better way to steer the Dalmatian energy!

Thanks Deaf Dogs Rock for sharing her.
