Meet adoptable deaf, 8 year old, bully mix Icy who is dreaming of a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her and always keep her safe.
Icy was found as a stray in Philadelphia in January 2023 and quickly won the hearts of everyone in the shelter. After a short amount of time in the shelter, Icy went to foster where she has been enjoying a life of couch naps, dog beds, snacks, and play time.
Icy is a mature gal and estimated to be around 8 years old. She loves to laze around, go for leisurely walks, and occasionally gets silly zoomies where she’ll want to play and run around for a few minutes.
Icy is house trained, easy to walk, and very good motivated. Though her name suggests she might be cold, Icy is anything but – she loves every person she meets! Kids too!
Icy is deaf so she doesn’t care if you are loud, quiet, sing badly, etc. She has learned a few signs, but is great at always checking in with her people.
Icy’s ideal home would be with someone who will give her time to decompress and love her for who she is, and she’ll return that love 100x over!
Icy has been patiently waiting for her forever family and hopes that it is with you!
