Meet adoptable deaf dog Hollyhock who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, become her new best friend and always keep her safe.

From the shelter advocate:
• Hollyhock A000955 – Female, 5 years old, 55lbs, DEAF, fully vetted, heartworm negative

Hollyhock was part of a large cruelty case seizure involving 30+ dogs from a property in Hernando County this March. They were kept outside in cramped, filthy crates with minimal food or water. Since arriving at the shelter, Hollyhock has gained 15–20 pounds and made tremendous progress. However, she is beginning to show signs of kennel stress and urgently need out of the shelter to continue healing and thriving.

Despite her traumatic background, she have shown remarkable resilience:
• Easily leashed, bathed, and brushed
• Enjoy treats, especially peanut butter
• Respectful of other friendly dogs when meeting at the fence
• Social and eager for companionship
