Here at Deaf Dogs Rock we love our country. We love our dogs. We love our brothers and sisters serving in our U. S. Military so when our friend Kenn Bell from the The Dog Files shared a movie trailer with us of a Hero Dog Movie called ‘MAX’. I was excited to learn more about the upcoming release of this movie. I also noticed my favorite country music singer was also a part of this project by producing the theme song “Forever Young” by Blake Shelton.
The MAX movie opens up in select theaters on June 26, 2015. I can’t wait for the movie to come to a theater near us here in Roanoke, VA. Read ‘Max’: Post Afghanistan-war drama goes to the dogs, in a really good way by John Anderson Newsday.com by clicking here.
Best friend. Hero. Marine. MAX is in the theaters June 26, 2015.
From Warner Bros. Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures comes “Max,” a family action
‘MAX’ the movie is about a military Hero dog named Max who serves along side his handler/partner Kyle Wincott in the U.S. Marines in Afghanistan. When things go horribly wrong for Kyle (who dies early on in the movie), Max gets shipped stateside to Kyle’s family. Once Max gets to the U. S. and meets his new family, things in the movie get pretty rocky after the family experiences such a great loss in losing Kyle. How does a family bounce back from losing a son and a brother? The family is shattered but maybe Max will be the protagonist to repair some of the damage of a family who has recently suffered the loss of a son. While there are some very interesting twists and turns to the movie’s story line you will have to go see the movie to see how it all turns out.
I encourage all of you to see this movie by getting a group of your family and friends together to view this film. Be sure to check out your local theater listings for any advance screenings of ‘MAX’. Go to this movie and witness military dogs, their trainers, and military families who sacrifice for our country.
With all the BAD stuff going on in the world, sometimes you just need to STOP whatever you are doing and go see a “feel good” movie. Many of you can use a good old fashioned Hero Dog Movie especially when this movie includes a beautiful well trained Malinois (Belgian Shepherd Dog) but also brings awareness to some of the sacrifices our military members and their families make. I truly believe ‘MAX’ is a worth while movie to see.
Because Chris and I are huge supporters of our Military, and also huge dog lovers, I am sure we will be the first in line to buy “MAX” movie tickets.
