Meet adoptable deaf/blind puppy Helen who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish her, trainer her using positive reinforcement touch training and always keep her safe.
From Helen: “Hi! I’m Helen! Nice to meet you! I am a 2-3 month old Catahoula Leopard puppy who was saved with my brother, Stevie, from a shelter in Florida before Hurricane Irma hit. Both of us were born blind and deaf, but our foster mom (and every other human we’ve met) thinks that just makes us even more special and lovable! Our foster mom has done a great job beginning our socialization and training.
Since we are special needs babies, we do have some special requirements to keep us safe and sound. I need to find a home with at least one other friendly dog, a securely fenced-in yard, and a family who doesn’t mind keeping baby gates up around my forever home to help me learn where everything is.
I have my age appropriate vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. If you have the love, time, and energy to devote to raising a puppy like me and are interested in more information about me including my most up-to-date status and/or would like to set up a meeting with me, please send a completed adoption application (found here – http://www.providenceac.org/adopt-a-pet/how-to-adopt/) to my foster mom at email@example.com today! We hope to hear from you soon! XO, Helen”
Adoption fee is $350
