Meet our Deaf Dogs Rock Star of The Day Hector!

Update from the shelter. Hector has finished his Heartworm treatment, he has also been neutered and microchipped. He is waiting for a loving home or a rescue to help him out of the shelter.

More about Hector: Meet adoptable deaf dog Hector who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, teach  him new things and always keep him safe

From the shelter: Good afternoon. This time we are featuring a very special fellow.
His name is Hector. He has been on our adoption floor for over 30 days and because of our large selection of pit bulls. He sparked little interest from the public.

One of our volunteers, Peggy, took interest in giving Hector quality time, and here is what she had to say:
269321 Hector. Deaf, but FANTASTIC with other balanced dogs. Mid-high activity level. LOVES and will sit for treats. He is very trainable and plays nice with toys.

Hector is heartworm positive, and his weight is 47 lbs. He has been in the shelter since 4-5-21.
He has been on heartworm pills every month since.
We know there must be someone out there taking interest in him. AI 269321
Neutered microchipped. He had his Da2pp, bordetella and rabies. Heartworm positive. About 4 years old. No charge to rescues.
