Many of you know dog advocate and deaf dog owner Kaye Gorman. She is down in FL constantly networking deaf and hearing dogs in high kill shelters trying to get them to safety. She has been a huge supporter of Deaf Dogs Rock from day one. She has a deaf American Bulldog who she saved from death row. Hannah her deaf dog is featured under our Happy Tails section under Hannah’s Happy Tail. Our animal rescue friend Kaye just spent 5 weeks in the hospital after breaking both of her legs. She was at her local feed store coming down the stairs when she slipped and fell while she was carrying one of her sweet chihuahuas. Kaye in that split second had to make the decision to hold her Chi up in the air and take the brunt of the fall or not. She choose to save her dog.
Kaye ended up breaking both legs and she just got home from the hospital after being in there for over five weeks of recover. Now she faces an up hill battle because she is in a wheel chair and needs one more surgery. The next surgery will keep her in the wheel chair for another three months.
Since Kaye will be in a wheel chair for the next 3 months and she is a single mom, she won’t be able to work so there is no money coming in to put towards a hefty Vet Bill. Let me explain, while all this was going with her accident, her sweet deaf dog Hannah ruptured her ACL and desperately needs surgery which Kaye does not have the funds for right now. Kaye would never ever ask anyone for anything, in fact she is just the opposite but now she finds herself in a position where she has no choice but to reach out and ask her rescue friends for help to save her deaf American Bulldog Hannah. I asked Kaye to go ahead and set up a ChipIn so that our Deaf Dogs Rock Community can try to help her out. The surgery will run $ 3400.00.
Nitro, Chris and will put in the first $ 100 in the ChipIn to get it started.
I am asking a favor from our Deaf Dogs Rock Community. Is there anyway you can help our friend Kaye raise money to pay for her dog’s surgery? Anything you can give will be very much appreciated. Every dollar helps. Even if it is only $1, $2, $5, $10 ect. Every dollar adds up. Please consider helping Hannah and her mom get better.
Thanks so much for all your continued support.
