Meet adoptable deaf dog Goliath who is currently looking for  loving forever home. Goliath is a young, lovable pup with a giant heart and an unstoppable spirit! Goliath happens to be deaf, but don’t let that fool you — this special boy is just as smart, playful, and affectionate as any other dog. He quickly learns through hand signals, routine, and positive reinforcement, and he’s eager to bond with people who will help him continue building confidence.

Goliath loves to play, explore, and be close to his people. He’s gentle, sweet, and full of personality, with a zest for life that’s impossible not to admire. Like any young dog, he’ll benefit from continued training and structure, but he’s incredibly rewarding and ready to thrive in the right home.

This handsome boy is looking for a patient, loving family who will see his deafness not as a limitation, but as one of the many things that makes him unique. Goliath is proof that sometimes the most extraordinary dogs just experience the world a little differently.

Goliath arrived at the shelter with his brother, Puppet. He is ~7 months old, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines.

Meet him at the Grass Valley Animal Shelter at 556 Freeman Lane Tuesday through Saturday 12-4.
