Meet adoptable deaf/blind 1.5 yeaar old Catahoula Leopard Dog Ghost who is looking for a very special home with someone who will cherish him, teach him new things and always keep him safe.
From his rescue: Hey there, my name is Ghost. I am a 1.5 year old deaf and blind Catahoula Leopard Dog. I am extremely sweet and super smart. I may be deaf and blind but that absolutely doesn’t stop me. I can get around all on my own and don’t need much extra help. I am looking for a family who sees my deaf and blindness as a strength instead of a weakness.
Watch the video of me easily being able to find the ball that is in the yard at my foster home. I need someone who will continue to help boost my confidence. Because I am deaf/blind it takes me time to process through new places so I would do best with a quiet home and a big yard. I love other dogs but I also need my space when I ask for it. I would do best with a respectful but playful calm female dog about my size or larger.
I have struggled with separation anxiety in the past but recently my confidence has been boosted and I am able to be left alone without anxiety, this is greatly helped by the Prozac I take. It will take time for me to get to know my new family and new place to live so expect the adoption process to be slow and steady.
Ghost is up to date on vaccines and has been neutered. His adoption comes with one free training through our in house trainer, and continued training will be highly recommended.
