Meet adoptable deaf 4 year old American Bulldog Ghost who is looking for a loving forever home with someone who will cherish him, continue his training and always keep him safe.
From his rescue: Boo…Hi, I’m Ghost! I am 4 years old and 80 pounds but don’t let that scare you, I am the biggest baby. While I might be deaf, that isn’t a disability, though an enhancement to my personality. I am an American Bulldog who lost his owner sadly, they passed away. I found myself at the shelter but finding my furrever home would be the greatest.
I am strong willed and love food, it definitely motivates me. While I am strong, I walk gently on a leash unless it is new territory. I get excited and want to explore. If we are walking, just know I will constantly need to look back to make sure you are there, if I feel excited I tend to bite the leash just to make sure you are keeping up. I know a couple of hand commands but I still need to practice, practice makes perfect. I also prefer someone who is knowledgeable of my breed as I don’t want to come off too strong, but I am hard headed at times. Who isn’t? Due to being deaf, I will need attention and lots of it, but at the end of the day I am the biggest snuggler. I love toys, treats, and attention. That isn’t too much to ask, right?
