Meet adoptable deaf 11 to 12 year old bully mix Frosty who is looking for a loving forever home to spend the rest of his days being spoiled by his new human. He would do best as an only pet where he will receive a lot of love and attention.

From his rescue advocate: Description: white, large (70-75 lbs), 11-12 years old (estimate- he was a stray) silly, calm, treat motivated, loving and a little shy.

Frosty came to Wisconsin after being a stray picked up in Georgia. He caught a ride and joined Albert’s Dog Lounge Rescue (Whitewater, WI but being fostered in Plover, WI) in January.

Frosty is a goofy, loving boy who enjoys going on long, slow walks to sniff everything out! He really loves to be by his humans and cuddle. It is clear that he probably didn’t get the socialization in his past life to be able to navigate life (safely) with another dog unless that dog is very forgiving, relaxed and patient. This is not to say he is dog aggressive, but with an evaluation from a trainer, we both agreed that he would probably enjoy and thrive best living out his years as a solo dog. Unless, the perspective family/owner is patient and willing to very slowly bring them together.

Frosty has met dogs of all sizes and based off the interactions, he does better with smaller ones– IF he HAD to. Frosty is really just looking for somewhere loving, warm and safe with all the treats he could ask for!
